Our Ember came to us as a 10-week old bundle
of Belgian fur. She competed in conformation until she came down with
pyo and had to be spayed. During her show career she achieved 14 points,
including a 5 point major toward her AKC championship and produced our
"A" litter.
Ember was our very first Belgian and was more special to us than words
can say. . . . She was our Prima Dona. She will always be in our hearts. |
| Ember achieved her CD at age 10. She was occasionally making appearances in both veteran's obedience and veteran's conformation classes. She was Best Veteran in Sweeps at the Potomac Valley Belgian Sheepdog Club Specialty in 2002. She was also Highest Scoring Belgian Sheepdog in obedience at these Specialties. |  |

Ember was also shown in Jr. Showmanship by
our daughter, Heather. They were quite the team - placing every time they
walked in the ring during their time in Novice Juniors as well as starting
competion in Open Juniors.
Ember was shown in Junior Showmanship until she was 13 years - loving
every minute of it. |
