We at KODAR have been owned by Belgian Sheepdogs since 1992 when our Ember came to live with us.  Prior to that, David had Alaskan Malamutes and Sharon had Giant Schnauzers.

David first fell in love with a friend's Belgian Sheepdog and nothing would do but he had to have one.  Then, of course, came Ember.  She gave us our first litter of Belgians, including our Smokey.  Now we also have Cayenne and Phoenix.  Our family of Belgians just keeps growing!

All of our dogs are a very important part of our lives.  We are very particular about our breeding program as well as where each of our babies go for their new homes.  We lean more toward the --American Style-- Belgian.  We do not breed often -- we strive for quality not quanity.
 

We believe that all of our dogs are family pets first, even if they are show and performance dogs.  All of our dogs live in our house and are a part of our day-to-day lives.  They are not kenneled...we do not even own a kennel run!
